Sonja joined Apex from State Street Bank Luxembourg S.C.A. in June 2016 as Global Head of Compliance and Data Protection. Offering over 18 years international working in financial services, she has gained extensive experience in Senior Legal and Compliance roles with large global custodians such as State Street Bank, Brown Brothers Harriman and RBC, within Luxembourg, EU, US and Asia. Sonja has in-depth experience in all areas of AML, Compliance, Regulatory and Industry affairs and global operating models including distribution support and regulatory product development.

She has also years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, IT integration, organizational restructuring and various outsourcing models.
