Veronica Tighe is a freelance Interpreter, Translator and English Teacher who specializes in the industrial and professional sector. Having previously worked in mining for an important amount of years, she wanted to make a change and organize her life in a way that suited her abilities and passions and broke free from the traditional 9 to 5.  She teaches CEOs for international mining companies, works on board presentations, and edits works for local stock broker companies to ensure accurate translations. Also, she works as Interpreter and Public Relations during visits of diplomatic delegations to Chile, where she has lived for the past 20 years.

With an associates degree in Tourism & Hotel Administration, Diploma on Mining and Cambridge UK certified in English Teaching, Veronica credits her happiness to hard work and courage to allow for changes at any time in one’s life. She is currently researching for a book she plans to write on the relationship between mining and the communities and is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
